Good location for my conference, resturants in vicinity were excellent. Hotel room sufficient
Staff a bit slow at check in
The place was old but so well kept and the staff were very polite.
They could have added parking in with the package.
Very noisy room : hotel located opposite to a bar (very noisy) and street window latch broken down
Only stayed one night but would use hotel in future
Very little parking, Very noisey, Very limited toiletries(one of each thing but three of us staying), Sky in room did not work. Only one teaspoon for making hot drinks
A suitable location to move around within Wellington. Good parking location.
was close to where i needed to be
very noisy rooms from outside noise in the street could do with double glazing and bewtter fitting windows
Convenience to town
Coffee was hard and unusable and no normal tea just herbal milk was off
Great spot to stay especially if taking the ferry to the South Island. Convenient to very friendly downtown and waterfront areas of Wellington.
I have stayed at Abel Tasman Hotel many times before. It is in a superb location and provides excellent value for money. It is my preferred hotel when in Wellington and I will certainly stay there again.
The bar off the dining area is very small and not the most attractive feature of the hotel.
Was supposed to have a desk for work, which was totally impracitcal. If I were to sit at it the desk was at armpit level, so not able to be worked at. When I spoke to staff they were happy to upgrade me so long as I paid for it. Whilst not after an upgrade per se, I did want something practical which I was not given as advertised.
Location was excellent for central wellington shopping, sightseeing
Beds/pillows hard and noisy airconditioning in bathroom
The staff were very pleasant and the hotel was located in a great location
Location was central. Room was nice and clean.
Parking garage is very narrow - don't try to park a large car in there. Parking costs an additional $18nz per night. A better map to locate the garage would be nice (many one-way streets).
The room and the bed were like most other hotels in that they were very clean and comfortable.
Considering the cost to stay here, it was not good value for the money other than the fact that it was right in the middle of the city. There was no air so windows had to be kept open at night and it was very noisy on the street below us. The underground parking was ridiculous!! We could barely park our car and it was very expensive. There was no free wifi, no breakfast, no kleenex in the room. Would definitely not stay there again.
